A bit disappointing on the sea at Kinghorn this morning. After last nights strong Northerlies I was expecting some Little Auk, but not my morning this time(I missed a couple sat on the sea seen by another birder). A Great Northern Diver and a decent Inner Forth count of 11 Long-tailed Duck were my highlights.
Then a visit to Loch Gelly where a Drake Smew had been seen. Couldn't find it this morning but a Red head Smew was present, presumably the one I had a couple of weeks ago and like then it was miles away. The real highlight were 25 Goosander including some stunning Drakes.
