A productive day on the Eden Estuary with 2 Osprey including a new colour ringed individual perched in front of the FBC hide-CS6. Haven't been able to find anything out about it as yet except that it is a Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation bird. I've submitted the sighting to them.
Further nice sightings included 1 Ruff, 2 Common Sandpiper (personal first for year), 190 Black-tailed Godwit and a Whitethroat (personal first for year).
Amazing views of an Otter eating a flatfish as well.
