April 9th-12th

Away doing some surveys on the Mull of Kintyre, lovely part of the world. Made even better by the fact I got lucky with my hotel room having a balcony overlooking the sea with views to Islay, Jura and the N.Irish coast. Racked up a respectable list of birds from here including a raft of 5 GN Diver just offshore, Wheatear, Pair of Stonechat, 2 flyby twite.
Also 2 Bottlenose Dolphin just offshore while looking out the window at breakfast.

This male Black Grouse  flew in behind my vantage point and began feeding 15m away. Three different Hen Harriers too.
