Isle of Wight March 29th-April 1st
Back to my roots for an Easter Break. The E wind was amazingly raw all the time we were here and it was actually warmer when we got back to Scotland.
Twitched the obliging male White-spotted Bluethroat on St Helens Duver, corker of a bird. Other highlights were 2 Ring Ouzel, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 2 White Wags, 2 Firecrest, several Black Redstart. The most bizarre sighting had to be an Egyptian Goose flying east along the cliffs at St Catherines Point, an addition to my IOW list.
