March 23rd
Loch Gelly, Fife
One of the long staying Red head Smew still present and a drake Scaup.
A bit annoying were the distant views of two grey geese that flew in from the west and then back again, probably Bean as they appeared to have a relatively long neck/head profile and rather uniform upper and underwings lacking contrast in the coverts.
Apart from widlfowl movement, it's still a bit on the early side to expect too much in the way of spring migration so just a standard late march northerly trickle of mipits and alba wags to report.

Later dropped into Kinross where the Glossy Ibis was still feeding in a field near the Cashmere Factory
