Last week some ecology surveys in Northumberland mostly looking at Red Squirrels but a few birds as incidentals, Woodcock, Barn Owl, LE Owl, Common Crossbill. Also a rather interesting Crossbill heard only with a deeper flight call to Common, would have been nice to get a look at that one.

Yesterday at Rossie Bog... Good numbers of wildfowl including 74 Pintail. Seems like a decent count for the site and certainly the highest I have had there.
