Yesterday August 6th, there were actually some passage waders at Rossie Bog with Juv Ruff and Greenshank. Followed this with Kincraig Point(0730-1000) where in the calm conditions I chose not to look at the sea and missed a Minke Whale. Once again Crossbill were moving overhead with a total of 51 W as well as 2 Tree Pipit. On the deck 2 Common Sand, 1 Wheatear, 25 Willlow Warbler and a Painted Lady B'Fly which wasn't the same one as last weekend. Healthy covey of 16 Grey Partridge too.
Today Rossie Bog the Ruff had been replaced by 2 Green Sands.
Also recently a 2nd cal year Male Hen Harrier livened up a Vantage Point survey with a reputation for being pants.
