Sept 16th-18th. It's all been about Skuas entering the Forth the last 3 days. Watching from my adopted site at Aberdour isn't turning up as much as Kinghorn but a dark Juv LT Skua was nice on 16th making typically high and unhurried passage west with shallow bouncy tern like flight and frequent circling. An hour spent at Kinghorn on afternoon of 17th produced 2 Juv Poms, 7 Arctic Skua, a Bonxie and a Juv Arctic Tern. Also on that day a few Arctic Skuas and Bonxies from Hawkcraig Pt, Aberdour were overshadowed by a dispersing Dipper that landed briefly on rocks at the tip of the point.
Also had a go at bush bashing up the east Neuk at Kilminning and Denburn but nothing doing. Thought it was worth it after a few things arriving further up the North East Coast such as Yellow-brows. You have got to be in it to win it as they say.
