September 30th-

Dawn at St Catherines Point for another productive migration watch. While standing next to the Pec Sand pool in the E Field chatting with Dave Wooldridge a Fem/Juv Marsh Harrier went south out to sea. We didn't see the Pec but it turns out it was still there, just very good at crouching down amongst the grass.
Later while doing a raptor watch from the ridge above Knowles Farm a Wood Lark flew over South-west and appeared to come down to the west of the farm, 1 Hobby was hawking insects before departing out to sea and a Merlin flew west.
