Somewhere in Dumfries and Galloway
Red Kite, Peregrine and Adult Goshawk. I was alerted to the Gos flying through following some serious panicking from Crows and a Raven. Although I have seen them mobbing a Goshawk before, corvids are generally more respectful around this species and tend to fly up high and follow from a distance shouting a lot.
March 4th-
Early visit to Rossie Bog, Fife produced 27 Euro White Front in a field with Pinkies. Otherwise fairly quiet with 8 Shoveler and 8 Whoopers.
A drive up the coast of Fife later with the Missus saw a brief drop in Largo Bay, nice and calm but with the tide falling everything was mega distant. I could just about pick out 5 Slav, 2 RN Grebe, 1 BT Diver amongst more frequent Velvet Scoter, Common Scoter, Long-tailed Duck and RTD.
