May 11th.
Aberlady Bay.

I had another hour or so to kill in Lothian while the wife did some more jewellery making. Yet again a cold Westerly wind blowing, so I wasn't really expecting anything.
A cracking  migrant male Whinchat feeding round a dried up pool in the dunes saved the day.



A Wood Mouse was feeding out in the open by the footpath. A common enough species but usually nocturnal.
