St Abbs Head, Borders
A Spotted Flycatcher and 2 Lesser Whitethroat raised hopes, but it didn't get any better than that for migrants.

A cliff nesting Woodpigeon was a surprise seen flying in with nest material and then out of site the other side of the ledge. BWP mentions Woodpigs occasionally using holes in buildings but not cliffs. |

Two Lesser Whitethroat were feeding very actively high up in the canopy around the mire loch, suggesting they were fresh in. |

Many more auks were back on the ledges compared to my last visit. |
