Just back from a two week cruise round the Canaries and Madeira, or a luxury pelagic as I like to call them.
Bulwers Petrels were the default species around the Canaries and Madeira, but the real highlight were the 2 White-faced Petrel seen somewhere between Lanzarote and N Africa, good scope views and even got to see the kangaroo hops as they foraged. A day with out with a bird guide in Portugal was good value too.
