Feb 9th, Firth of Forth, Fife
A walk along the coastal path from bridges towards Inverkeithing didn't produce any white-winged gulls or Little Auks. A typical inner Forth selection of Razorbill, Guillemot, RTDiver, GC Grebe, Goldeneye, RB Merg with Fulmars back around the cliffs.
Most striking was the amount of full song from common residents along the wooded coastal path; Song Thrush, Great Tit, Chaffinch going for it like it was April.
Plenty of time for winter to have a sting in it's tail yet mind.
