March 2nd
Letham

Water levels looking good here for the spring migration with a combination of shallow floods and muddy islands.
Certainly felt quite spring like today with some early signs; waders back inland with 2 Ringed Plover, 22 Oystercatcher and a few Curlew. Also a noticeable influx of wildfowl including 287 Wigeon and 33 Gadwall.
Greylags and Pinkies featured both at Letham and nearby at Rossie Bog although the largest group of Pinkies, 300, were only seen in flight at Rossie and wouldn't give themselves up for a grilling.
