Today..
Inspired by last weekends visit to Lothian, I decided to chose somewhere in Fife that might hold an Eastern Black Redstart. The only place I have seen Back Red in Fife before was at Seafield, Kircaldy so this seemed a logical place to try.
Needless to say no Black Reds, but an enjoyable time spent watching a mixed flock of waders including a Ruff. This bird, an adult male, is a returning individual which was seen here last winter. Also nice to see were 18 Purple Sandpiper and 26 Long-tailed Duck.
