Today..

A nice sunny day, so i headed up into Fifes Lomond Hills, one of the few areas of upland habitat that Fife has. You don't expect a big bird list up here in the winter but it can be good for Snow Bunting and raptors, although I lucked out today. It was nice to hear Skylarks singing as though spring had arrived and the views were superb

Dropped into Rossie Bog afterwards where a Marsh Harrier was a nice surprise. Apart from one breeding area, this species isn't frequently encountered in Fife and not normally in winter.
