March update.
It's been a while and I've been out but haven't had a lot to report until recently. Spring has certainly sprung on the patch at Ferry Hills with north bound Pink-feet (868 on 22nd), Meadow Pipit (81 on 24th.), Whooper Swans (71 on 31st with another 30 over the house at Dunfermline on 30th) and the first Sand Martin (30th).
The highlight was two Red Kite flying North across the Forth on 30th, still a rare bird in Fife.
