Visible Migration watch from Ferryhill N Queensferry on Sat 22nd produced another high count of Tree Pipit with 38 over in two and three quarter hrs and the first Red-throated Diver of the season heading overland.
Sunday 23rd saw a very promising easterly wind whipping up, so took a spin up the East Neuk to Kilminning. Right idea just a day too early for the fall of migrants; 2 Spotted Flycatchers and 7 Whimbrel was all i could muster.
This morning.. yet another good count of Tree Pips (25 in two and three quarter hrs) and great to see the first Skuas of the season migrating- 2 Arctic Skua and 7 Bonxie, 2 of the Bonxie came overland right above me.

| Migrant Lepidoptera were more obvious than migrant birds when I was at Kilminning with 3 Painted Lady Butterfly and widespread Silver Y Moths. |
