Ferry Hills
Signs of autumn passage increase with the first Tree Pipits of the autumn over (1 Sat, 2 on Sunday). The highlight was 3 Little Gull heading inland on Sat, a scarce species for here despite being more frequent further down the Forth. Also the first Red-throated Divers of the autumn (3 together) went inland on Sat.
I get good scope views of Inverkeithing Harbour from up here too and 3 Med Gulls were picked out amongst the gull flock loafing on the mud on Sunday. Still a good record for there, despite a large increase in this species in Fife this is a localised species. Last year numbers roosting at East Weymss , Fife reached a record Scottish total of 68 but away from here this species is more uncommon.

The first Red-throated Divers of the autumn went inland on Saturday

A steady passage of Swifts on Saturday. Full totals here https://www.trektellen.nl/count/view/1563/20190714
