Butterflies and Dragons

 The warm spell in April and early May 2011 saw good numbers of Orangetip and G V White on the wing but since then constant cool wet conditions in Scotland have made sightings of butterflies and dragonflies infrequent. Saw my first Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary last week (June 22nd). As for the Dragons, after an early emerging four spot chaser on May 2nd very little to be seen until my first Golden-ringed also on June 22nd.
