Amazing encounter with a male Goshawk in the open. Scoped up for close to 20 mins on the ground, resting, preening, then best of all running around presumably attempting to catch a vole. I knew that they do this but never expected to see it. I seem to remember some wildlife doco footage(Life of Birds?) that showed a Juv chasing rats.
