March 22nd-
Whats going on? more glorious warm weather which encouraged 2 Red Kite and 2 Peregrine up somewhere near the Clyde, Peacock Butterfly on the wing too.

March 23rd-
11 Whoopers migrating over another survey site.

March 25th-Kincraig Point, Fife

I had no real high hopes given that it's the E coast of Scotland and it's only March but in the end I did see enough that could be called migration. Conditions were foggy so a flock of Whoopers were heard only as was a Sandwich Tern offshore. A Chiff and 2 Goldcrest were in trees around the Cabin just inland from the point. A total of 43 Mipit and 5 Alba wags came in off the sea.
Still no Wheatear though, dosent really feel like spring until you nail your first one of those.
