May 19th-East Neuk of Fife

The wind was back in the East and things like Red-backed Shrike were arriving on the Northumberland Coast so we spent the late morning and pm around the East Neuk seeing zero migrants.

With no rare Flycatchers in Denburn Wood we spent some time watching two Stock Dove in some kind of territorial  dispute. The kind of fairly common often overlooked bird that is really quite smart. Although if I'm honest a Collared Fly would have been preferable..

At Kilminning there was a lack of birds but a nice show of early purple orchids.
