Vane Farm.
A rather still cloudy morning with occasional showers would seem best suited to grounding passage waders but it was actually raptors that were the main interest. Pick of these was a Juv Marsh Harrier hunting over wet grassland west of the Carden Flood, while a scan of Loch Leven revealed up to 3 Osprey, two of these were eventually successful in catching fish. The two Juv Peregrine seen at the start of the week were still causing mayhem around the Carden Flood, stooping on Curlew and B H Gulls. These were joined by a third Juv at one point. I ended up with five species of raptor seen from the Carden Hide with the addition of Sparrowhawk and Buzzard. Or six if you count 2 Raven, which I always think of as a honorary bird of prey.
