August 6th-
Kinghorn, Fife
2 Roseate Terns were amongst the Common and Sandwich. Most of the views were of an adult fishing, but occasionally a Juv that appeared to be spending most of the time sat on the water would fly up and join it. At one point it looked like the Ad passed a fish to it.
Two Peregrine spent around 15 mins trying to catch a Common Tern, the tern keeping out of reach by continually landing on the water.

August 8th-
Argyll and Bute.
Always a good start to a survey day when you get on site and the first bird you see is a Golden Eagle.

August 12th-
Vane Farm
8 Snipe and a Ringed Plover flew over, but the water levels are perhaps a bit on the high side to hold too many waders. The 2 Juv Peregrines again and now 4 Osprey over Loch Leven.

August 13th-
Kinghorn 0715-0915
My first skuas of the autumn with 5 Bonxie, 4 Arctics. Also a Manxie and 100+ Common Tern.
