Sept 8th and 9th
Carlingnose Point on the Forth.

Two morning skua/general viz mig watches were quite productive; 12 A Skua and 13 Bonxie on the first date, 10 A Skua and 6 Bonxie on the second. In the relatively light winds and good visibility, the majority of these were heading high inland over the bridges or St Davids Bay. The Red-throated Divers were doing the same(peak of 19 on the first date).
Plenty of passerines on the move although generally too high to count properly. Usual suspects-mipits, hirundines, the odd Tree Pipit. Best of the small birds was a grounded Spotted Flycatcher, pretty good for this far up the Forth.

Arctic Skua and Bonxie heading high inland from the Forth at Carlingnose Point.
