June 15th
St Abbs Head, Borders.

A pleasant place to go and have a walk while the missus went to her latest Jewellery class, I had no real expectations of seeing much migrant wise although I was day dreaming about pulling out a singing Greenish Warbler from around the Mire Loch.
That didn't happen of course and I ended up seawatching which produced plenty of local seabird traffic plus 3 Manxie and a distant pod of Bottle -nosed Dolphin.

Wall Brown St Abbs. This species is restricted to the Southern end of Scotland and I haven't seen this species on the  North side of the Firth of Forth where I live in Fife.
