Letham , Fife.
A very smart summer Little Stint feeding with Ringed Plover on the N side of the road. Other stuff included 3 LRP, a Gadwall with 7 ducklings and wait for it..2 Canada Geese. This species is actually quite uncommon in Fife, most records come in the late summer period and presumably involve birds on moult migration to the Beauly Firth which includes birds from England.

Believe it or not, the blob with the Ringed Plovers, second from the right is a Little Stint. It looked cracking through the scope. |
