Three of the Ringed Plover looked smaller and darker than the fourth, suggesting they were of the tundrae form.
Yesterday at Kincraig Pt, a Lesser Whitethroat and a singing Gropper were near the cabin and a few odds and ends seen from Levenmouth carpark included 2 Arctic and 2 Common Terns. Some lingering winter duck about too, a second cal year drake Goosander that flew out of the river mouth was perhaps the most unusual, while more more expected were a small number of Velvet Scoter, Com Scoter and 5 LT Duck.
