I've mainly spent the last couple weekends not seeing any migrants, as often happens a few decent birds arrived in the week and then things started to slow up as we hit the weekend.
The weather was very pleasant to be out and about, but this was probably one of the reasons why not much was grounded. On Sat afternoon a walk around the Kilminning area produced nothing that could be classed as a migrant, despite some initial optimism following a phone message about a Common Rosefinch nearby at Blacomie. A Small Copper butterfly was easily the highlight.

Sunday; Kincraig Pt, a good site for visible migration but a bit of a wild card for grounded migrants. It does have some 'form' for shrikes mind. It certainly produced my most interesting sightings this weekend, the main surprise being a second cal year Hen Harrier that  flew S out to sea in the direction of Lothian, it was grilled for rarer possibilities as a Monty's or Pallid would both be Fife megas.
Also 5 Crossbill went over.

Did Letham both days but the only passage waders were a single Dunlin and 6 Black-tailed Godwits. Lingering Pink-footed Geese (3 on 31st and 1 on June 1st) and single Whooper Swan both days. Also nice to see breeding sucess here with Redshank, Lapwing and Shellduck young.
