Today..
My fourth consecutive morning on my patch at Carlingose Point and easily one of the best of the autumn so far. I have nothing against Meadow Pipits and alba wagtails, they give you something to count on the quiet days, but it was good to get a bit more variety today. Particularly as that variety included some skuas, nice to see in what has been a pretty lean autumn for them here. 8 Arctic Skua included a group of 5 Inland and 5 Bonxie all went inland. RT Divers also prominent with 58 mostly heading high inland. A B T Diver was a patch tick. 2 Juv Arctic Terns were lingering.

Arctic Skua, Bonxie and RT Diver migrating inland at Carlingnose today.

From Carlingnose earlier in Sept; part of a flock of 54 Shag that came out of the mist and landed offshore and a Spotted Flycatcher.
