Today at Levenmouth.
More gulling but still no Glauc or Iceland. Once again a  small number of Argentatus Herring Gull picked out, interestingly this included a big brute of an adult with a begging Juv/first winter in tow that were almost certainly the same two I saw here on Jan 10th. Surprisingly for this late in the winter the Ad was seen to regurgitate food for the young bird. Total of 6 Argies picked out in total.

This brute of an Ad Argentatus with a begging Juv in tow, not pictured, were likely the same two seen here on Jan 10th.

Another presumed Juv/first winter Argentatus; a bird with extensive retained Juv scapulars this late in winter is likely to be from a fair way North. Also Ringed Adult BH Gull S35 in the background to find out about...

Good views of Goldeneye to be had at Levenmouth, I hadn't noticed before that the feet come out of the water when the males display.
