Isle of Wight Dec 28th-29th
I made a brief visit to family down south. Got some birding in with the bro, the weather wasn't very kind but we saw some nice birds.

The main highlights came from a late afternoon visit to Brading Marshes where there was  a Glossy Ibis, a Water Pipit and a pre roost gathering of 6 Marsh Harrier.

Lighting and distance prevented photos for the most part but this Great Northern Diver was close in off Fort Victoria.

Jan 2nd. Back in Fife

A seawatch from Kinghorn produced a superb Humpback Whale, presumably the returning individual from last winter. Also adult Little Gull, an impressive gathering of 130 Shag and several Argentatus Herring Gulls.
