Today..
The news from Fife Ness/Kilminning wasn't that exciting yesterday despite potential fall conditions for migrants. But with multiple Bluethroats on the Isle of May had to give it a go this morning.

Not one Bluethroat despite searching some very nice shore line habitat along the Fife coastal path between Kilminning and Fife Ness. At first it didn't seem as though there were any migrants about but gradually we pulled out a few things with a female Pied Flycatcher the highlight, along with a Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Garden Warbler. A Great Northern Diver flew east on the sea. But when the news came out that the Isle of May now had 14 Bluethroats it felt they were being a bit greedy, one would have done for us.
