Fife Ness 29/08/2021

One thing you can't get at Ferry Hills is seabirds that don't migrate overland such as shearwaters. So with a suboptimal forecast for my patch and reports of good numbers of Sooties about, I went to Fife Ness early morning. Nine Sooty Shearwater in the time I was there plus a few other bits including 14 Bonxie, a few Arctic Skuas and Manxies.

Videos aren't great but they give an idea of the close views you get of seabirds at the Ness.
