Today... it's nearly December but you wouldn't think it. Calm, sunny, temps into double figures. Seemed like good conditions to check through the seafowl off Ruddons Point although it actually turned out that there was still a fair swell on making it less easy viewing. However I was rewarded with the returning fem King Eider in exactly the same spot as last winter just SW of the tip of the point with a small flock of Eider. Also I finally saw a Drake Surf Scoter with the Velvets out in Largo Bay. At least one turns up every winter here but somehow in 5 years of living in Fife I never managed to see one before. Other stuff included a Red-necked Grebe and 3 Slavs.
