Today...
Paid my first respects of this year to the long staying female King Eider off Ruddons Point. Also a Whimbrel present which is a regularly returning, overwintering bird as opposed to an early spring migrant. Most of the seafowl distant today in a modest swell but at least 6 Slav and 1 Red-necked Grebe seen.
